Job Description

Overview
As a Penetration Tester, you will be part of a specialized global team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating vulnerabilities across our technology stack. Reporting to the Head of Security Testing, you will conduct high-quality security assessments and collaborate closely with multiple Information Security functions to ensure Sportradar’s global infrastructure remains secure and resilient.

The Challenge

  • Perform penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and red team exercises on systems, applications, and networks.
  • Identify and evaluate security risks, and work closely with cross-functional teams to address the root causes of vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support threat modeling process
  • Contribute to enhancements of testing methodologies, tooling, and processes to ensure our practices remain at the cutting edge.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements, producing clear, actionable reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats, attack techniques, and industry developments to propose and implement innovative security solutions.

Your Profile

  • At least 4 years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or related cybersecurity fields, ideally gained in a consulting company.
  • Proven expertise in conducting penetration testing and/or red teaming engagements.
  • Strong technical skills in performing vulnerability assessments and exploiting security weaknesses in systems, applications, and networks.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools and frameworks, such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, CVSS, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and similar.
  • Solid understanding of modern threat landscapes, attack methodologies, and defensive countermeasures.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical security findings into business-relevant insights.

Desirable Skills

  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of secure development practices, especially in CI/CD environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks.
  • Experience in red team exercises and adversary simulations.
