Full Description

This role is instrumental in managing the approval process for content submitted by Topps across various regions, ensuring compliance with UEFA and partner agency guidelines. The role will act as a key liaison between Athlete & Partnership Management, Marketing, and external agencies, ensuring the smooth submission, review, and approval of marketing assets

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Approval Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end approval process for all content that requires submission to external agencies, such as Team Marketing and CAA11 (UEFA partners).
  • Ensure all marketing materials and creative assets are aligned with UEFA's and partner agencies' standards and brand guidelines.
  • Track submissions and manage timelines to ensure approvals are granted on schedule.

2. External Agency Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies involved in the approval process, facilitating clear communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with external agencies to ensure all submitted content is in line with the required legal and partnership obligations.

3. Internal Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between Athlete & Partnership Management, Marketing, and external agencies to ensure efficient and accurate submission of content.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including regional marketing teams, to collect, prepare, and submit assets for approval.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration across multiple regions, managing content from various markets while adhering to global guidelines.

4. Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Review all marketing materials to ensure they meet the quality standards and comply with UEFA and partner agreements.
  • Maintain a high standard of detail when reviewing content to ensure that all assets align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Keep up to date with any changes in partnership agreements or external regulations to ensure full compliance.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of all submitted content and approvals, tracking progress and status updates.
  • Provide regular reports on the approval process to the Athlete Partnership Manager, highlighting any delays or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a content approval or asset management role, preferably in a marketing or sports-related environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Familiarity with sports marketing, especially within the European football landscape, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Knowledge of football leagues and partnerships, particularly UEFA.
  • Previous experience working with collectibles or sports-related marketing is a plus.
