JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor Production is essential to the manufacturing and packaging of high-quality fan merchandise. Reporting directly to site leadership, the Supervisor will direct routine and advanced assignments related to all aspects of production including manual and automated work centers. May be required to operate a wide variety of machinery including adjust settings/speed or otherwise complete basic troubleshooting.
The Supervisor must take responsibility for the safety, quality and timely execution of production operations according to direction received from Leadership. Will be responsible for day-to-day oversight and support of assigned Production Specialists and Machine Operators to leverage each athlete to their maximum skillset, while meeting business needs. Will work collaboratively with other site Supervisors to accomplish complex projects, address athlete corrective and commendation actions, and effectively carry out priorities established by Planning and Site Leadership.
This position requires sustained moderate physical activity throughout the shift, including ability to crouch, climb, push, pull, reach, lift and carry.Supervisors will be assigned in varying work centers and it is essential that they are prepared to report to secondary work centers, building locations, or alternate shift patterns as directed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the selection, training, time-keeping, coaching and career development of warehouse athletes.
- With guidance from HR, EHS and Site Leadership, assists in the investigation and follow up for all personnel issues, safety violations and/or accidents.
- Responsible for effective and timely internal communication with fellow Supervisors, Site Leadership, Planning, and other departments to hit company goals as directed.
- Leverage systems and technology to ensure accurate status of WIP and make data-informed decisions together with stakeholders regarding shipping based on fulfillment and individual customer criteria.
- The Supervisor Production will oversee and delegate tasks to department athletes daily in order to accomplish:
- Actively deploys department direction through Production athletes to accomplish day to day objectives, delegating assignments to leverage each athlete to their maximum skillset possible.
- Provision of direction, training and support of new or visiting athletes.
- Completion of general production duties as assigned including, but not limited to, FMS utilization, material coordination, use of both manual, automated and digital tools and machines, correctly label and package according to customer specification.
- Completion of daily and weekly preventative maintenance to equipment, such as cleaning and oiling as required.
- Completion of basic equipment set up such as adjusting settings, changing needles, and basic disassemble/reassemble.
- Participates in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
- Performs general housekeeping and department six sigma activities.
- Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
- Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL & Experience REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 12 months general production or machine operation experience
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Close attention to detail
- Understand written instruction
- Proficient data entry skills and software applications including Microsoft Suite, Infor Powerlink/FMS, and the ability to learn new software programs as needed.
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to make equipment adjustment using hand tools.
- Ability to complete basic technology applications / basic computer aptitude
- Good hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to complete repetitive machine operation tasks
- Ability to read shop packets and follow instruction
- Ability to count accurately, complete accurate measurements, and complete mathematical computations
- Ability to inspect materials and finished products for defects
- Ability to learn and apply accurate PMS Color matching knowledge
- Maintain current certifications:
- Bloodborne pathogens
- PIT
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to participate in a team lift of 50 lbs.
- Able to sit or stand for entire shift
- Able to turn or bend
- Able to grip/grasp continuously
- Able to push a cart
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May work in a high noise environment
- May work in a wet environment
- May work indoors in a warm, humid environment

- May handle or have exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, and fumes
