Norfolk County FA is the not-for-profit Governing Body of football in Norfolk. Founded in 1881, Norfolk FA governs, regulates, and develops grassroots football across the county, operating under the umbrella of The FA.
From our County Headquarters in Norwich, Norfolk FA oversee the local game and operates two Football Development Centres, The FDC and The FDC Open, which offer great value pitch hire and a range of services to grassroots clubs and the wider community.
Norfolk FA are proud to be a forward-thinking Association, with the development of Norfolk Football at the heart of everything Norfolk FA do.
Norfolk FA are looking to recruit a Football Delivery Officer (Women & Girls) to join our Football Delivery Team, with the key focus of the role being on growing and developing the female game across Norfolk.
Reporting directly to the Football Delivery Manager (Clubs), the role will be responsible for:
- Driving the implementation of Reaching Higher: The FA's Strategy for Women's and Girls football
- Working strategically and operationally to implement change that will grow participation opportunities for female football in Norfolk.
- Leading on key programmes to grow female football provision in Norfolk, including Wildcats, Squad and Equal Game.
The successful candidate will have strong organisation and planning skills, excellent problem-solving and influencing skills, as Norfolk FA have a commitment to delivering exceptional standards of customer service. They will also have practical experience of sports/football development and a knowledge and understanding of working with volunteers.
