Norfolk County FA is the not-for-profit Governing Body of football in Norfolk. Founded in 1881, Norfolk FA govern, regulates and develops grassroots football across the county, operating under the umbrella of The FA.

From our County Headquarters in Norwich, Norfolk FAoversee the local game and operate two Football Development Centres, The FDC and The FDC Open, which offer great value pitch hire and a range of services to grassroots clubs and the wider community.

Norfolk FAare proud to be a forward-thinking Association, with the development of Norfolk Football at the heart of everything Norfolk FAdo.

Norfolk FAare looking to recruit a Football Delivery Officer (Clubs & Facilities) to join our Football Delivery Team, with the key focus of the role being on developing and managing positive relationships with 2 and 3-star clubs and providing support to applicants accessing Football Foundation small grants.

Reporting directly to the Football Delivery Manager (Clubs), the role will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and developing Thriving Community Clubs in Norfolk, working closely with 2 and 3-star clubs in particular.
  • Supporting England Football Accredited Clubs to reach their full potential
  • Activating priority projects for Football Foundation investment, especially grass pitch improvements and small grants

The successful candidate will have experience and understanding of how grassroots organisations operate, as well as knowledge of grassroots football structures. Previous experience developing grassroots football facilities and an understanding of working with volunteers effectively are advantageous.
