Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a Main Media Center Energy manager, the main activities will be:

  • Focus point of broadcast energy topics with IOC and OBS and with all functional areas of the host committee.
  • Coordinating the planning, participation, and reporting of all meetings for the preparation of IOC/OBS documents related to the specific project milestones
  • Coordinating the development, planning and design of IBC power supply and internal distribution systems design for broadcast services (competitive venues) and the MMC power supply and distribution power system (MPC+IBC) in collaboration with the other units of the energy area involved.
  • Compliance with OBS requirements for Media Operations activities
  • Compliance with OBS requirements for Media Operations activities
  • Compliance with the agreements set with Broadcasters and other stakeholders.
  • Support all Energy subjects related inside MMC
  • Coordinate the development of MMC-Main Media Center Energy Project, providing information for the engineering consultants and its deliverables.
  • Assist the Broadcast Energy Manager during the Tender phase with data collection, technical specifications, sizing, calculations and specifications of the equipment, panels, and circuits.
  • Coordinate all Energy related activities inside MMC, as construction, maintenance, and operation.
  • Planning, participation, management, and reporting of meetings, supporting the issue of MMC's documents and energy project Milestones.
  • Activities coordination with the broadcast manager for important stakeholders as OBS and Press.
  • Negotiate with other functional areas in order to realize in a harmonic way all NRG activities and report issues for the Broadcast Energy Manager.
  • Possible involvement in the project development for sustainability topics with partners, suppliers and other third parties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering, Energy Engineering, Management Engineering or equivalent field;
  • Experience managing people working on shifts on Power Systems sector and in the management of typical projects (sports events or similar events requiring overlay set-ups) from the design phase to the on-site construction phase of the systems
  • Experience in Management of suppliers/contractors and related contracts.
  • Experience in design and construction of overlay power supply and distribution systems, both new and integrated into existing power systems.
  • Strong background in organizations operating in the above-mentioned sectors as supplier of Overlay Systems and related integrated services.
  • Strong English level (interview will be in English).
  • Flexible person with high ability to negotiate.
  • Open to work on shifts if necessary.
  • Proficient user of Office Suite and related construction software, Planning and Project
