Vacancy | Coach Delivery Lead (Shared Role with London FA)


Location: This is a shared hybrid role between Berks & Bucks FA and London FA, with opportunities to work remotely from both County FA offices, from home, and across the respective counties.
Hours: The successful candidate will split their working hours 50/50 between Berks & Bucks FA and London FA.
Contract: Full Time – Fixed Term Contract

The Opportunity

Berks & Bucks FA and London FA are jointly recruiting a Coach Delivery Lead to support England Football Accredited Clubs in becoming more sustainable by embedding the Thriving Community Club framework, aligning support services, and facilitating collaboration between multiple stakeholders.

In addition to supporting club sustainability, the role will lead the growth and development of high-quality coaching and coach development opportunities within England Football Accredited Clubs. Working closely with Coaching Leads, the successful candidate will design and deliver people-centred coach development programmes aligned with the FA Learning Coach Development Framework.

Coach development is a key focus in the 2024–2028 Strategy, and this role will ensure continued progress by guaranteeing that all coaches have access to meaningful learning, mentoring, and development opportunities that enhance their ability to create positive experiences for every player across all pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the County FAs' Business Strategies
  • Help England Football Accredited Clubs become more sustainable through engagement with the Thriving Community Club Framework and multi-stakeholder collaboration
  • Support and develop England Football Accredited Clubs to grow and sustain coaching and coach development opportunities, ensuring a quality experience for all players
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of The FA's Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs
  • Support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football
  • Comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance
