We are looking for a curious, energetic, and coachable Merchant II to support the APLA Energy-NBHD Merchandising team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for products and streetwear culture, a consumer-centric mindset, strong business acumen, and attention to detail in a cross-cultural environment serving consumers across Asia, Pacific, and Latin America.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You'll partner with several cross-functional teams – Consumer & Marketplace Merchandising, Marketplace/Sales, Consumer Assortment Planning, Supply & Inventory Planning, Operations, and Global Partners. A key enabler of your success will be teamwork, proactive communication, and ability to build relationship and trust, collaborate and influence partners to meet deadlines and achieve shared goals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for curious, energetic, and coachable merchants. You have demonstrated an awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace. You have shown a passion to learn, make mistakes, and grow. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and excited to take on new concepts and ideas.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
  • 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas
  • Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
  • Team first mentality, energy giver

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Merchant II, you will play an integral role in supporting the merchandising function to drive business growth and manage the Code process for the APLA Energy Co-creation, Quickstrike, Inline, and GEL product portfolio.

Your core responsibilities will include managing and maintaining multi-seasonal merchandising tools, assortments, and product journeys across all Footwear & Apparel product lines as well as coordinating effective communications with Global, Geo, and Territory counterparts. This role requires building relationships with cross-functional team members, expertise in research and analysis, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
