THE POSITION

As a Merchandising Operations Sports Coordinator on the Flywheel Execution Team, your primary responsibilities will revolve around the efficient and seamless execution of day-to-day operations on the Flywheel side of the business. This role requires deep sports knowledge and expertise in Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) to effectively manage contests, optimize user experiences, and drive engagement across our Picks and Free-to-Play products. You will be creating and managing contests, monitoring contest demand, inventory management, content merchandising, and resolving operational issues with a keen understanding of sports betting markets and fantasy sports dynamics. You will be instrumental in the continued success of our site and a key member of the FanDuel Team. We are looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge of professional sports leagues, betting markets, and daily fantasy sports, combined with the ability to learn in-house systems quickly and someone that possesses extremely strong attention to detail. You must be able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities and commit yourself to delivering the best experience to our customers. Due to our rapid growth, there is plenty of room for advancement for the right individual in this role.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Create, manage and optimize contests on our owned & operated platforms, including, but not limited to: DFS, Free-to-Play, Picks and Sportsbook.
  • Manage contest demand to ensure balanced inventory and user satisfaction.
  • Oversee contest & promotion merchandising to present relevant options to users.
  • Price players for the DFS product.
  • Assist in creating SGPs & Parlays for the Popular Parlay Module on the Sportsbook Home Page, leveraging sports & betting knowledge to identify and capitalize on real-time events and narratives happening in sports.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues swiftly to maintain a seamless user experience.
  • Assist the team in defining formats & rules for upcoming sport seasons.
  • Support Sportsbook operations and contribute to its success as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to align on operational strategies and requirements.
  • Identify and escalate bugs and issues raised by customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and support operational growth
  • Operate, Create & Score games on our Free-To-Play platform

The applicable hourly range for this position is $24.52 - $27.88 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
