THE FANTERNSHIP

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, hard-working intern with the ability to think creatively, be proactive and make clear, well-reasoned decisions. We seek people with drive, passion for sports and humility who can thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced culture. We are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond to contribute to the success of this world class organization. He/she must also be able to work collaboratively as a team and be a self-starter, keeping your finger on the pulse of the sports world, monitoring selling of teams and merchandise, while working with world-class vendors to drive overall top and bottom-line results.

Internship positions are competitive and are paid positions. This internship is a 10-week position, starting at the end of May and ending in the beginning of August.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Monitor the sports world daily. The performance of leagues, teams, and players directly impact the merchandise buying decisions.
  • Assist in creating Industry Leading Product Assortments for all leagues and all categories.
  • Work with our merchandising team to interpret data sets to assist with key business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships. Research and resolve vendor issues.
  • Collaborate with buyers and planners for assistance with hot market events.
  • Prepare, organize and assist in the creation of new products.
  • Work on special projects assigned by managers.
  • Overall, develop a full-scale understanding of our processes and strategic goals.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Proactive, energetic, hard-working, intellectually curious and results oriented.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills required.
  • Comfort working with all employee levels – including executives.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel products.
  • Ability to collaborate and positively influence teammates to drive decision-making without always owning the ultimate responsibility and accountability of all stakeholders.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for sports, merchandising, or both!
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Fashion Merchandising, or other related field from an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • December 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 estimated graduation
  • A minimum of 3.3 GPA
