You'll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.

What you'll do.

As a member of the Data & Insights function for a defined AKA (Alliance Key Account – Selection of identified strategic retailers), this role has direct responsibility for the creation, visualization, and actionable insights extraction, of data led reporting.

With the objective of accelerating Wholesale Sales, Sell-out & profitable Market share. Through these insights, this role will positively influence the commercial (Sales), Digital (DPC) & Product (GTM) teams in their responsibilities to maximize sell-in & sell-out of adidas products respectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead point of contact & expert for area / account of responsibility, specifically relating to data processing, visualization, and presentation.
  • Concurrently, add further value to provided reporting through identifying relevant commercial and digital insights, actions, and recommendations.
  • Pursuing excellence in accuracy & automation of data reporting, you will continuously look to improve how we deliver data and insights into key business stakeholders.
  • Own weekly & Monthly reporting delivery, pro-actively providing relevant insights and suggested actions.
  • Present results, insights and suggested actions in weekly trade and monthly / quarterly review forums. Focusing on presenting with impact / influencing stakeholders, through both the creation of relevant reports & presentations and considering flow of communication.
  • Support Relevant commercial / brand teams in performing deep dive analysis into identified areas of need / focus.
  • Use available data to create and maintain future sell-out projection models and utilizing the results to provide relevant insights to impact future planning and the pro-active management of product lifecycles.
  • Own the planning and execution of report development and improvement – reacting to new tools & business priorities as needed.
  • Support in the roll-out of new reporting into relevant business stakeholders, including upskilling & feedback etc.
  • Collaborate closely, and actively build relationships, with commercial, brand, digital stakeholders on individual account, alongside peers across the analytics community in the relevant geography.
  • Maximize the depth of insight generation, and drive synergies, by leveraging data points across the full spectrum of granularity – including online/offline, Internal / External, geographies, categories, genders, product types, price points, colorways etc.
  • Through these insights, provide the business recommendations relating to ideal product assortments, depths of buys, breadth of ranges, replenishment opportunities and other key insights to help accelerate the adidas business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analyses
  • Experience with visualizations tools (PowerBI current adidas platform of choice)
  • Understanding and experience in future forecasting models (E.g. WSSI) & business forecasting approaches
  • Growth mindset, with a pro-active approach to personal development.
  • Ability to derive the inter-connected nature between various data points.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work in deadline driven environment.
  • Fluency in English is a must; another European language would be beneficial.
