THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Media Panning Associate to help support the Investment Strategy & Media Planning team through campaign planning, optimization, and reporting focusing on FanDuel Sportsbook Product. 

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in paid media strategy and planning in high-paced, dynamic environments for industry leading brands. We’re looking for a team player who is comfortable working with data and analytics and is interested in building their career in media planning. If you have a passion for sports, casino & betting and are a proven digital marketing leader, we’d love to hear from you.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Support the planning, optimization and reporting of media strategy.
  • Assist with up-leveling our channel mix allocation through operationalizing measurement signals and coordinated test and learn agenda.
  • Support ongoing creative, audience, and tactical testing across the funnel, helping implement test plans and document results.
  • Identify white space opportunities and execute plans to understand their impact.
  • Assist in analyzing performance data and identifying insights to inform optimizations and future testing.
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and competitive reporting, helping summarize performance, key learnings, and next steps.
  • Assist in media briefing and planning process along with ongoing budget management and portfolio optimization.
  • Own centralized documentation and process tracking.
  • Help ensure accurate reporting, billing and pacing in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with platform representatives to stay informed on best practices, new formats, and innovation opportunities.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 1-2 years of hands-on paid media experience with a focus on investment, performance planning strategy and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with optimizing campaign strategy toward performance goals such as CPA and ROAS is a plus.
  • Exposure to mobile attribution and measurement tools (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, Kochava, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience in leveraging MMM insights is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of paid media fundamentals, including targeting, bidding, creative testing, placements, tagging, and reporting.
  • Highly detail-oriented, coachable, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for digital marketing, social innovation, and emerging platform trends.

The applicable hourly range for this position is $35.10 - $43.75 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
