Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are looking for Media Accreditation Specialist.
The identified resource will be responsible for:
-Under the supervision of the Media Accreditation Coordinator, the Media Accreditation Specialist will serve as one the primary contacts for media in relation to all accreditation matters for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
-Managing the accreditation process for media organisations and representatives, ensuring excellent customer service and data processing.
-Coordinating assistance for all accreditation-related inquiries and providing guidance to media throughout the accreditation process.
-Ensuring optimal service levels and timely delivery of accreditation documents and badges.
-Participating in engagement events leading up to the Games to support media in preparation for the event.
-Managing the Accreditation Help Desk during the Games, providing on-site assistance at the Main Accreditation Centre.
-Contributing to the development of accreditation publications for media population.
-Supporting media with data entry and visas, ensuring accuracy and completeness of their information.
-Acting as a liaison for media stakeholders at the Main Accreditation Centre.
-Reporting to the Media Accreditation Coordinator on the progress and status of media accreditation
Requirements
-A higher education degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) or relevant experience in event management or related fields.
-English (full professional proficiency), proficiency in Italian and/or French is an advantage. Additional languages are a plus.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
-Advanced knowledge skill of Excel would be a key skill and an asset.
-Experience with accreditation management systems and databases is highly desirable.
-Comfortable using digital communication tools and platforms for cross-departmental collaboration.
-Great ability in managing large volumes of data using different IT tools.
-In-depth understanding of the accreditation processes, particularly for international sporting events like the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
-Strong familiarity with the logistics and technicalities of accreditation in large-scale events.
-A solid grasp of the organisational structures within the media industry.
-A solid understanding of the organisational structures of National Olympic and Paralympic Committees would be preferable.
-Proven accreditation experience, ideally gained at least at one other global multi-sport event, with a focus on the complexities and nuances of managing large-scale accreditation processes.
