As an MCR Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining seamless content delivery through satellite and IP technologies. The Role:


As an MCR Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the acquisition and delivery of live sports content to DAZN’s OTT platform. This is an individual contributor role where you will work collaboratively with a team to maintain high performance and service uptime. Operating in a live broadcast environment, you will assist the shift lead, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth delivery of sporting events to audiences worldwide.


This is a 24/7, shift-based role in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. Your contributions will directly impact DAZN’s ability to deliver premium sports content across global markets.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Acquire and monitor live Satellite and IP feeds using the latest technologies.
  • Provide live event support to ensure uninterrupted broadcast delivery.
  • Communicate issues promptly and clearly to internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Adapt and tailor incoming feeds to meet production and regional requirements.
  • Maintain service uptime as a top priority by proactively identifying and escalating risks.
  • Assist the shift lead and support other team members during live operations.
  • Manage workload efficiently during peak periods and suggest workflow improvements. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of satellite signal delivery, decryption, and decoding.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under time-critical conditions.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
  • Experience in a broadcast environment; sports broadcasting is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to meeting and exceeding performance KPIs.
