JOB SUMMARY:
Manage, control and monitor the purchase procurement of consumable supplies and special purchases necessary for manufacturing
and distribution center operations
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee fulfillment center consumable supplies for the facility.
• Manage policies that effectively meet customer demand, and financial commitments to coordinate the scheduling of
production and materials.
• Understand, comply with, and implement the policies of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment and those that apply to the
Company.
• Interface with leadership, finance and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
• Manage inventory and develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining established inventory levels to
support business objectives.
• Monitor production capacities and inventory levels daily and communicate throughout the organization as required to ensure
sufficient capacities and levels are available to manufacture scheduled product.
• Monitors the operational processes and procedures of materials.
• When applicable, generate ideas to increase the productive capacity of the working groups by initiating new ideas, processes &
systems.
• Ensure material receiving systems and processes verify quality and commercial specifications and agreements.
• Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of
records.
• Produce appropriate procurement reports showing inventory levels, shortages and work to continuously improve procurement
metrics.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Degree or Equivalent required, Associates Degree or bachelor's degree a plus
• Previous Materials/Consumables purchasing experience is preferred
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of purchasing budgeting, inventory, and cost-management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• General knowledge of budgeting, inventory and cost-management
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
• General knowledge of screen print operations is a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regular light physical effort is required
• Regularly required to sit/stand and walk throughout the facility
