Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
With a first-class service approach, the Marketing Partners Relations & Activation Manager (in short MPS Man) supports Commercial Partners (TOP, Domestic) throughout the Olympic ecosystem for the correct use of brands and the correct activation of rights acquired by the IOC and the Games Committee.
In particular, the MPS Man plays a key role in the instruction of the guidelines and in the direct service to Partners and Stakeholders.
The MPS Man also plays a key role in ensuring consistency between all IOC and Committee guidelines, in the application of the same principles in activations and, above all, in the management of rights between clients and client groups.
The role of the MPS Man is that of “Rights Governance” Manager.
The MPS Man liaises with the internal functional areas of the OCOG (FA’s) to ensure that the same principles are applied at all levels and that the Games operations respect the commercial rights acquired by the Partner (in particular, for what concerns Partner activations: Brand Identity and Look of the Game, Communications, Ticketing, Hospitality, Showcasing or any other activity in venue that includes commercial partners).
She/He will be involved in:
- Supervision of the activation of rights of a group of TOP’s and Domestic Partners stakeholders;
- Planning of communications and updates to Partners and implementation of 'knowledge & education' events (induction) in accordance with the IOC – CONI-CIP guidelines;
- Final approval of Partner activations;
- Implements continuous alignments with the various functions and Partners on the basis of assigned projects (e.g. documentation of approval decisions, knowledge transfer, studies; reporting; other transversal projects, etc.);
- Management of the entire “Marks Approval” approval process in coordination with the Rights activation coordinator / specialist for commercial Partners in the Italian territory:
- TOP Partners (co-approver with the IOC for the use of the Marks);
- Domestic Partners;
- Specific “Games-time approval processes”; e.g. on-site activations, Rule 40 waiver process (IOC final approver and MICO co-approver).
Requirements
- Timeliness in delivering approvals within predetermined SLAs;
- Relational skills towards external customers;
- Degree in Economics and Business, MBA in sports management or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Rights activation management within large sports organizations (teams / leagues / Federations) and large sporting events;
- Fluent English essential written and spoken;
- Advanced, (PPT / Excel) preferably knowledge of the intranet platform for approval of materials / Marks / Brand Campaign TRACK by IOC or similar.
