What You Will Be Doing
As a Manager in THE·TEAM’s Strategy & Consulting group, you will help power insight, analytical excellence and strategic thinking for clients across APAC. You will work across multiple projects - distilling data, identifying trends, building narratives and supporting recommendations that drive commercial and marketing impact.
This role provides opportunities to lead workstreams, shape strategic thinking and influence high‑profile brand and property projects across sport, music, entertainment and culture. It requires curiosity, precision and the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior Strategy & Consulting team members in designing and delivering strategic projects with high‑quality outputs.
- Source, extract and synthesise data from custom research, syndicated tools, analytics platforms and industry reports.
- Analyse demographic, behavioural and market data to inform strategies and potential partnership recommendations.
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to internal teams and clients.
- Track cultural, entertainment and sports trends across Asia and identify emerging opportunities for brands and properties.
- Monitor brand partnerships, market developments and relevant industry news across the region.
- Build clear, compelling client presentations that combine data, insight and commercial thinking.
- Collaborate across internal teams including performance, creative, insights and partnerships.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
- Support pitch development through insight gathering, category analysis and partnership benchmarking.
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in marketing, consulting, research or consumer insights roles, ideally within sport, entertainment or culturally-led marketing environments.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience, with proficiency in analytics tools and syndicated data sources.
- Skilled at identifying trends and shaping insight-driven recommendations.
- Interest in sports, music and entertainment - and how brands leverage culture to connect with audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to translate technical findings into strong, visually clear presentation decks.
- Solid understanding of AI tools for research, analysis and workflow efficiencies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to self-manage, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting multiple roles as needed.
- Strong understanding of Mainland China and APAC markets, including consumer behaviour, digital ecosystems and cultural nuances.
- A collaborative, fun team player with a strong work ethic and a positive, solutions‑focused approach.
- Fluent English required; second Asian language (ideally Cantonese and/or Mandarin) strongly preferred.
