Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To ensure the efficient deployment of adidas concepts both product and brand (SP/SS) through omni-channel (retail, wholesale, eCom) marketing across all categories. To support sustainable and profitable market share growth in the relevant SFC by providing effective and efficient omnichannel deployment of key product categories across all appropriate customers, channels, including monobrand, wholesale and eCom
Key Responsibilities:
Category Management & Go-To-Market Execution:
- Lead Category Management by overseeing Range Planning and Net Sales Forecasting (Value & Volume).
- Provide strategic input into the Go-To-Market plan tailored to Malaysia’s market and channel landscape, integrating competitor insights to deliver a well-balanced range with a competitive price structure.
- Align with SEAPAC on category direction, including range size, pricing/margins, retail launch timings, and product allocations.
- Collaborate with all Channel Leads and SEAPAC CTC/Planning teams at key Go-To-Market milestones to ensure accurate forecasting in both value and volume.
- Contribute to the development of account marketing plans for product launches, including campaign door listings.
- Deliver precise monthly Category Net Sales forecasts (Net Sales & Standard Margin) in coordination with Channel Leads and Finance.
- Track sell-through performance of key campaigns and products, and initiate actionable steps to achieve sell-through targets, elevate consumer experience, and support Malaysia's distribution strategy in line with SEAPAC.
- Amplify key categories in priority doors (Key City, Trade Zones, Specialists) through optimized allocations and tailored product recommendations.
- Equip Channel teams with effective sell-in tools to drive key concepts at the customer level and maximize shelf space.
- Optimize the SPEED program across all channels to ensure efficiency and agility.
- Monitor the PLC (Price List Control) to uphold the pricing integrity of each category.
- Actively support sell-in and key account pre-line meetings to strengthen category positioning.
- Assist in customer meetings by finalizing channel segmentation guidelines, preparing sell-in packages, and supporting the e-catalogue and showroom setup (including samples).
Market & Consumer Intelligence:
- Drive the end-to-end Go-To-Market process with a consumer-first approach.
- Maintain in-depth understanding of consumer behavior and competitor positioning.
- Evaluate brand performance in the market relative to competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover gaps and fuel category growth.

- Act as a country category stakeholder for wholesale retailers, external contacts.
- Act as a business contact and country feedback facilitator to SEA for all channels / pertinent categories.
- Provide coaching & feedback to direct reports or external staff and foster their performance development.
Controlling:
- To monitor all required reports and budgets.

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills
Degree in Marketing or Business with Retail/Marketing focus
3-5 years’ experience with a mix of consumer, eCommerce, Trade and Retail Marketing in sporting goods or fast fashion retail Industry
PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
