Full Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Manage daily administration of Guangzhou Sourcing branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration Management (cross divisions):
- Work closely with other functional areas within teams at local and Hong Kong, ensuring all departments and functional areas work together to achieve adidas’ overall objectives.
- Ensure implementation of company policies and guidelines.
- Assist the Senior Manager Office Administration to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations including but not limited to labor, financial, health, corporate and individual taxation, health and safety to lead the office admin in accordance with the directions and policies of the company.
- Assist the Senior Manager Office Administration to manage departments and their staff in accordance with group direction and global policy and local Country Management.
- Be aware of external environments, China regulatory changes which impact the company (e.g., work permit, visa, temporary resident cards, etc.), alert senior management of potential business impacts and propose required solutions.
- Manage company day-to-day fleet management.
- Develop contingency plans for crisis management.
- Manage and develop direct report(s) to carry out the administration functions and processes.
- Manage projects and priorities as defined by Senior Manager Office Administration.
- Assume full responsibility for organizing meetings, summits, events/activities for the organization.
Corporate Services:
- Identify and negotiate terms for office supplies and service providers (hotels, travel, house and car rental, etc.), follow established procurement processes, etc. Conduct benchmarks and analysis to identify opportunities, propose options to ensure service providers stay competitive.
- Ensure office premises, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained at a high standard of efficiency.
- Ensure that office safety and fire prevention are always given priority.
- Implement Green office initiatives including but not limited to 6S.
- Support cross-divisional activities in the office.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Highly organized, ability to identify and manage multiple priorities
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Advanced knowledge of standard software applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- Pro-active approach; hardworking, independent, and able to work under pressure
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree from an educational entity focusing on business administration or related field
- Minimum 4 years working experience with exposure to office administration/legal/human resources with an international company
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing people
- Sufficiently developed presentation skills
