At Converse, the Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) team takes pride in servicing the consumer in the integrated marketplace – whether they shop at one of our retail partners, in a Converse store or online.

The MSC team plays a key role in supporting Converse growth and delivering premium consumer experiences. Amongst other activities, we are responsible to maximize in-season service, revenue and margin while keeping the marketplace healthy. We do so in close partnerships with commercial, logistics and consumer finance teams.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will report to the WE Marketplace Supply Chain Director. You will work closely with commercial, business planning and other operations teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Marketplace Supply Chain Manager, you always start with the consumer in mind.
You are responsible for leading, growing and inspiring a high performing marketplace supply chain team. Together, you maximize service and profitability while meeting the financial and operational targets of your account portfolio,
You have a deep understanding of business operations and are accountable for customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and maximizing inventory productivity by effective order- and contract management.
You develop MSC strategies for your account portfolio and ensure key needs are prioritized and actioned on. You develop relationships with your key internal and external stakeholders, understand their strategies and priorities, and keep them abreast of risks and opportunities. You connect across operations and cross-functionally to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions to complex problems. You lead cross-functional projects to evolve business capabilities while using agile principles. You have a knack for finding improvements and don't settle for status quo. You represent the voice of operations within the commercial / sales team.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the below criteria;

  • Experience with leading teams and developing team members through direct team management, preferably with experience managing remote team members.
  • Previous solid experience in marketplace supply chain roles with increasing responsibility, inclusive a good understanding of processes / tools and external customer collaboration
  • A strong knowledge of supply chain and operations product- and process flows in an omnichannel business environment (including wholesale, digital and retail)
  • A proven track record in identifying process and/or system improvements and leading successful delivery of projects. Ability to solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Strong (English) communication and relationship skills with ability to influence diverse audiences (different functions, global/ geo)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills / proven ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources through advanced excel skills. Familiar with SAP
  • Experience in decision making with an amount of ambiguity, and a hands-on mentality combining speed and detail with quality in ways of working.
  • Self-starter mentality and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead, grow and inspire a team of MSC professionals across multiple locations in WE.
  • Drive accurate goalsetting and optimize shipping through balancing demand pull, revenue targets and logistics capacity, aiming at maximizing full price revenue and inventory efficiency.
  • Play an active role in landing seasonal collections by account specific pro-active orderbook recon and coverage tracking, active delivery planning and focused launch execution
  • Execute and elevate pre- and in-season orderbook management by implementing service oriented yet policy led orderbook management practices against clearly defined KPI.
  • Improve how we serve and operate by driving end-to-end account / channel development plans and implementing process improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and implement innovative and improved account management capabilities and best practice capabilities, processes, and analytics. Implement automation where relevant to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Set strategic and operational priorities for the team and drive quarterly check-ins.
  • Contribute to -, deploy - & execute the marketplace supply chain strategy.
  • Be the voice of operations in the commercial / planning team
