Full Description
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
As part of the global S&OP function, create inventory transparency and drive performance management to support on-time full-price sales at highest operating margin whilst achieving the company’s inventory and availability targets. Collaborate closely with Global Demand Planning and contribute to managing a dedicated network across all Market SCM teams to orchestrate inventory decisions above market and drive inventory health E2E.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and implement the right Inventory performance KPIs aligned with business needs, in collaboration with Supply Chain Intelligence and/or Advanced Analytics
- Develop and run reporting at required granularity level to create transparency on inventories level and inventory health across the company
- Conduct data-driven analysis and performance management reviews with Inventory SPOCs in the markets (and global functions as needed) to identify risks and opportunities to drive inventory health
- Evaluate scenarios and formulate recommendations on actions and decisions needed through S&OP process
- Coordinate actions execution in collaboration with global and markets teams

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of supply chain principles and operating practices, logistics terminology, basic finance, and management of cross functional interdependencies
- Ability to collaborate with partners both within GPS and other x-functional teams to create transparency and derive actions
- Ability to apply continuous process improvement concepts and tools, experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality, process review and compliance
- Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes
- Experience with planning software, reporting and analytics tools and ideally Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
- MS office skills and ability to understand systems and reporting tools
(e.g. SAP S/4 HANA, SAP IBP, PowerBI) - Fluent in English (verbal and written), additional language is a plus
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, engineering, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university3 years of experience in supply chain management or retail operations
- 3 years of experience in supply chain management or retail operations
- Experience with process (re-)designing and data analytics; preferably with SAP IBP and PowerBI experience
