Role Overview

Wasserman is working with a financial institution to deliver their partnership with one of the biggest professional sports leagues in the United States. The team is well established, and due to expanded project workstreams there is an exciting opportunity to join and immediately become an active contributor.

This role offers hands‑on involvement in the delivery of high‑profile live experiences, including game‑day environments, premium hospitality, partner activations, and major league moments. There are significant opportunities for travel and on‑site activation across a national footprint, with exposure to some of the most visible and culturally significant events in global sport.

What You Will Be Doing

(Including but not limited to)

Client & Account Management

  • Develop and manage a trusted, day‑to‑day client relationships
  • Effectively lead regular project and status meetings with clients and international markets, consolidating notes and actions
  • Support project planning alongside senior leads, aligning delivery to the rhythms of a seasonal game calendar

Management Responsibilities

  • Liaise with third‑party contractors, clearly defining scopes of work and required services
  • Work collaboratively within the team to deliver the build, installation, and live activation of all experiential elements
  • Design schedules covering contractor movements, crew shifts, and staffing rotations across event days
  • Manage technical and production requirements, ensuring all products and assets are delivered and installed correctly within live environments
  • Oversee venue operations working closely with local suppliers and production partners

Financial Responsibilities

  • Act as day‑to‑day lead on project budgets, reporting into senior leadership
  • Track budgets, payment schedules, and reconciliations across multiple projects
  • Prepare quote requests, collate supplier comparisons, and negotiate where required
  • Raise purchase orders and allocate costs across staffing and production budgets
  • Reconcile all project budgets and provide regular updates to the project lead

Live Event Delivery

  • Oversee and manage event installations in high‑pressure, live environments
  • Lead and manage all on‑site contractors and operational teams
  • Deliver key briefings to ensure alignment across crew, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Maintain performance standards and wellbeing of the on‑site workforce
  • Act as the primary on‑site contact for client requests, responding quickly to changing needs
  • Escalate any issues to senior leadership to ensure timely support and resolution
  • Support hospitality teams in the delivery of premium guest, partner, and VIP experiences

Post‑Event Responsibilities

  • Ensure all equipment and event kit is returned, packed, and prepared for future use
  • Manage inventory checks and storage following each event
  • Compile post‑event reports detailing performance, learnings, and recommendations

Administration

  • Work closely with the project team to learn and own internal administrative processes
  • Take responsibility for project and finance administration within internal systems
  • Actively contribute to internal team status meetings
  • Create event briefing documents, crew guides, and supplier training materials

Additional Support

There may be times when support is required beyond the responsibilities listed above, with your expertise called upon to assist wider team initiatives and delivery requirements.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with the sourcing and purchase of additional equipment where required
  • Manage receipts and expense reporting following events

Skills & Experience Required

  • Confident communicator, able to lead clearly with clients, partners, and on‑site teams
  • Positive, professional, and approachable manner
  • Attentive to team welfare during demanding live event environments
  • Highly responsive, with the ability to think and act decisively under pressure
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Calm and composed in fast‑paced, high‑visibility situations
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale experiential builds and live activations
  • Agency experience preferred, ideally within elite American professional sport or major live entertainment environments
  • Experience working with large, globally recognised consumer brands is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for American professional team sport, game‑day culture, and fan engagement; wider interest across sport, music, and entertainment is a bonus
