As a TEAM we regularly interact with Product, Technology, and Engineering partners globally. It is our responsibility to partner with program, product and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning appropriate technology outcomes with prioritized initiatives. You will regularly engage with the engineers on our collaborative, diverse squads to plan and deliver outcomes where technical service, security, reliability and performance globally at scale are expected. Your ability to context switch between career development conversations with your team and helping deliver working software when necessary is important. Along the way, you will also collaborate with other organizational leaders globally to ensure technical outcomes are achieved, TEAM healthis high, and that we are building trust and diversity in our Global Technology Organization.


We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing software development teams. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving technical innovation, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on software engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects.

  • Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies.

  • Strong Agile practice experience with Scrum and DevOps.

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities


As a Software Engineering Manager, your primary role on the team will be to lead our Converse Integration India Technology Center (ITC) based squad members. You will help coach the team to design, deliver, maintain, support and optimize our technology. You will help ensure we are delivering performant, scalable, extensible and sustainable solutions by being hands-on, providing technical direction and ensuring detailed solution documentation. You will align engineering resources to support product outcomes.

  • Lead the integration team in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and align with company goals

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategy that supports business growth and innovation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and data analytics, to identify integration opportunities and prioritize development

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and company policies

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning

  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and guide career development

  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation

  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products

  • Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns

  • Communicate technical vision and strategy to stakeholders
