Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their knowledge of commercial sales, manage complex, exciting projects and is passionate about leading client relationships within the dynamic world of sports Rightholders.
The Manager, Client Services is responsible for supporting the Sales, Strategy and Operations team across all facets of the sales process from go to market planning and preparations to client reporting and sales pipeline management. In the first instance, the candidate will be the lead support across the following strategic verticals (including but not limited to) Football, Iconic (i.e. Basketball) and Women’s Sport. The candidate will be responsible for driving internal collaboration, particularly with Strategy and International Sales, whilst leading key external stakeholder relationships.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Sales team & senior leadership pipeline management
- Lead end to end sales planning and execution for our retained Rightsholder projects
- Lead the delivery of best in class client servicing across our retained Rightsholder partnerships
- Present and manage the creation of ongoing sales reviews and strategic insights to senior Rightsholder stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional internal coordination across commercial, strategy, research & insight to streamline sales processes and improve operational efficiency
- Facilitate internal team updates on football/iconic Rightsholder activity and trends
- Support the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, and outreach effort
- Ensure essential sales collateral is accessible to sales team across our core Rightsholder relationships
- HubSpot roll out and management (automated outreach tool)
- Rightsholder client sales reporting
- Assist in maintaining and updating Salesforce, including managing new sales prospects and campaigns
- Proactively identify and manage any challenges throughout the sales process to ensure effective delivery
The skills and experience you need:
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management
- Exceptional multi-project and time management skills
- Strong track record of collaborating with Senior Leadership
- Confident and clear presenter
- Strong commercial and market awareness
- Competency in Excel and PowerPoint essential
- Attention to detail and organisation is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (including Salesforce & HubSpot)
- Driven - be self-motivated but also a team player
