Manager Brand activation Foot Locker Europe – Key Geo activation – TEMP 6 Months
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Help build and execute seasonal localized key Geo activation plans for Alliance Key Account (AKA) Foot Locker in Europe that delivers significant business growth and improvement in our Brand Health KPIs working in close co-operation with the AKA Activation, Sales and Merchandizing Teams (which are located in Amsterdam). Main category focus for this role is adidas Originals (sneakers / streetwear). The focus of this role is local brand & community activation in collaboration with Foot Locker in European key cities.
This position is a temporary opportunity for duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help define seasonal localized key Geo activation calendars for big 5 markets (IT / FR / GER/ UK / SP)
- Lead the tailoring of activations to market needs
- In each fascia and through all channels help develop and execute consumer activation activity against targeted categories / concepts across all channels and platforms.
- Secure the highest share of space, within key destination doors and online
- Secure strong sell through and consumer engagement with market share growth ensuring all commercial and strategic goals are met
- Measure the effectiveness of the account activations ensuring execution with excellence visually and via sell out
- Manage the seasonal GEO activation calendar per key market in close collaboration with local brand and culture marketing teams as well as local account marketing managers
- Understand product, customer and Gen-Z lifestyle consumer needs from the European markets
- Represent the brand activation point of view both internally and externally
- Responsible for concept development and production management for defined projects (photography / moving content etc.)
- Closely co-operate with Global, EU and Local Brand teams to secure a best practice level of implementation of global strategy in Europe
- Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success
- Manage budgets and costs within agreed measures
- Accountable and responsible for the visibility to all markets of AKA brand activation to relevant country and global teams through process management and communication process

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Affinity with Sports industry and experience in lifestyle segment (streetwear / sneakers), as main category scope of work is adidas Originals
- Up-to-date with latest Marketing trends (Retail, Digital, Media, PR, Membership, Influencer Marketing)
- Thorough understanding of Gen-Z lifestyle consumer / consumer trends, focused on sneakers and streetwear
- Experience in developing 360 degrees campaigns
- Familiar with Content Production (briefing experience)
- Able to manage multiple projects / campaigns at the same time
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high intensity environment
- High professional maturity
- Highly collaborative with strong communication skills
- High influencing skills and ability to make fact-based decisions
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured, organized and process orientated
- Previous experience in Social, Digital, Trade, Media, Brand and/or Account Marketing, ideally in Sports and/or Lifestyle Industry, as a plus
- Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global)
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
- Fluent in English
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business preferred, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
- Social, Digital, Trade, Media, Brand and / or Account Marketing experience: min. 3 years
- Experience in Sports, Sporting Goods or Lifestyle Industry as a plus.
