Full Description
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ecommerce (Management) Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Fanatics Collectibles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting of Ecommerce business transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Provide technical support and advice on management
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in the credit control process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with international credit control regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales department, FPA team and other relevant stakeholders to resolve any ecommerce accounting issues.
- Provide support and training to junior staff members on credit control procedures and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably in an international or multi-currency environment.
- A good working knowledge of all matters VAT and VAT for ecommerce sellers.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Knowledge of the trading card industry is a plus.
