Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

To support the Logistics Department in the following activities:

- Support in the project management and administrative activities of Logistics Functional Area

- Monitor and support the progress of milestone and deliverables for the Logistics FA.

- Support in workforce planning in the Logistics Functional Area

- Manage the Issue Tracker tool monitoring and managing all the issues.

- Prepare high-quality reports and presentations in support of the Logistics Operations.

- Coordinate various aspects of the supply chain with administrative duties and contract management.


Key Deliverables:

- Support Information, Knowledge and Games in collecting documents or the FA for the Games Knowledge Function

- Support an appropriate information flow and to align all the Functions involved

- Ensure completeness and consistency of Policies and Procedures developed by Logistics Functional Area.

- Support readiness activities.

Requirements

- Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English

- Resilience to overcome obstacles and maintain a focus on delivering results.

- Able to use own initiative and carry out activities autonomously.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with evolving processes and activities.

- High quality project and time management skills.

- Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary working environment.

- Ability to identify problems/issues, seek pertinent information, evaluate data, and develop appropriate solutions quickly and thoroughly.

- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills able to work under pressure and remain focused on following instructions in unpredictable situations.

- Capacity to ensure both an ‘holistic view’ and attention to details.

- Computer skills: Powerpoint, Excel, Smartsheet (nice to have)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.

- Experience in other project management applications is a plus.

- Understanding of logistics operations, resource allocation, and scheduling principles.
