We are seeking an exceptional Logistics Manager to oversee the downstream supply chain and ensure the smooth operation of our 3PL partner service for Japan. RESPONSIBILITIES Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Team Management

Manage day-to-day logistic planning and execution, dealing with any logistics and customer service queries in a timely and professional manner.

General administration of the team through team leadership and being able to stand in for all team roles when required.

Set up of target setting and review of performance.

Create a team spirit with a positive and service oriented working atmosphere.

Ensure proper development plans for all the team members and nurture for succession preparation.

3PL Management

Point of contact for day-to-day operation matters regarding 3PL (and all other logistical service providers).

Ensure stable and optimized inbound/outbound operations, including importation process.

Ensure contractual obligations and SLAs are met, including regular 3PL tender programs.

Track and manage monthly KPIs.

Ensure accuracy of inventory and product age with regular stock reconciliations.

Ensure compliance to the Red Bull quality standards for all POS/VISIT and finished products (temperatures, humidity, warning & blocking guidelines, ….).

Ensure product is handled during the entire supply chain under local control in line with global quality standard (traceability, transport and storage).

Field samples management as per RBHQ guideline.

Work closely with Red Bull Asia customer service team.

Close communication and alignment with Demand & Supply Planning team is required.

Order to Cash Process (Order Management)

Escalation point for any issues related to Order-to-Delivery process (Sales team, finance, customers, 3PLs).

Control and set up procedures in terms of managing orders, credit notes, penalties, and trade allowance.

Optimize the process through standardization and automatization of related workflows within SAP or other IT tools.

Maximize customer fulfilment.

Budget Owner for Logistics Cost

Logistics budget planning and tracking, and ensure efficient use of the resources.

Implement cost saving programs.

Ensure and retain the right balance between service levels of Red Bull partners and related costs incurred.

Processes & Systems and Miscellaneous

Deliver month-end closure process on time and accurately.

Support in providing required documentation and reporting during internal and external audits (Inventories, orders, invoices, …).

Maintain systems and database integrity.

Document and update local processes under his/her responsibility.

Usage of standard reporting and provide recommendation of any possible improvements in current reporting processes. Standardize local specific reporting where necessary.

Apply professional project management framework and install continuous process improvement cycle.

EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Native level in Japanese. Business level English is a plus.
  • Final degree (BA) in business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience and/or specialized qualifications in logistics, demand planning and/or Inventory planning, and/or any other supply chain management discipline, ideally in an FMCG industry in a multinational environment.
  • Deep understanding of the logistics market and its players with the ability to effectively leverage previous work experience in managing multiple logistics providers.
  • People management experience, likely more than 3 people.
  • Self-motivated individual who can manage direct reports and foster individual performance.
  • Process oriented with a holistic view of processes and experience in change management projects.
  • Hands-on capability, yet strategic mindset and can draw the “big picture” through robust project management skills.
  • Relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to run analysis from multiple sources, providing reliable and valuable outputs.
  • An entrepreneurial “can do” attitude facilitated by continuous improvement and application of appropriate “best practices”.
  • Good skills in all MS products (Excel, Word, Power Point) is a must, Access & Power BI is a plus Knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP APO and BI is a plus.
  • FMCG & Process Food experience is a plus.
