Full Description
As Topps/Fanatics Collectibles enters China market, we are seeking a resourceful and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and execute our end-to-end supply chain and logistics strategy in the region. This role is critical in establishing and optimizing local logistics infrastructure, including customs clearance, warehousing, and last-mile delivery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
China Market Logistics Setup & Management
- Develop and execute logistics strategies to support Topps’ launch in China, including inbound and outbound flows.
- Lead negotiations and interface with Chinese customs authorities, ensuring full compliance with import/export regulations and efficient clearance procedures.
- Set up and manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers in China.
- Establish warehousing solutions, including selection, contracting, and operational oversight of local warehouses.
Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate closely with global production teams and regional partners to plan and manage shipments to/from China.
- Coordinate with global warehouses and China-based facilities to ensure synchronized stock movement and availability.
- Manage inventory accuracy, reporting, and local stock availability for B2B and B2C operations in China.
- Oversee returns processing and reverse logistics in the China market.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Work with internal stakeholders to create demand forecasts for the China market and translate them into capacity, space, and logistics resource plans.
- Drive logistics and supply chain KPIs with continuous performance improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support localization of systems and logistics processes required for China operations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (eCommerce, operations, legal, and finance for example) to ensure cohesive supply chain execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of logistics and supply chain experience for an MNC in China.
- Proven expertise in customs clearance processes and government liaison within China.
- Strong track record in setting up or scaling logistics infrastructure in a new market, preferably in a start-up or market entry context.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Familiarity with warehousing and last-mile logistics solutions in China.
- Strong command of logistics IT tools and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and “can do” mindset.
