The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Legal Coordinator
The Legal Coordinator will be an integral part of the legal team, responsible for providing assistance and administrative support to the Legal Department, including managing the offices of the senior legal managers, coordinating and tracking cross-departmental projects and large-scale initiatives, and ensuring the smooth functioning and operation of the Legal Department. This position will report to the Senior Paralegal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain file systems, electronic and hard copy, in coordination with the department paralegals.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to assist with data analysis.
- Fully manage and represent the Legal Department executives' offices, inclusive of but not limited to management of senior executives' calendars, contacts, and correspondence.
- Coordinating and sending meeting invitations and agendas to attendees, book meeting rooms, and arrange for IT resources and refreshments in support of a smooth and efficient meeting.
- Support the Legal Department in delivering the departmental objectives.
- Organize and coordinate regular team meetings, board presentations, quarterly and yearly planning process, etc.
- Plan and execute Legal team events and offsites.
- Plan travel for executive team members.
- Work closely with C-suite executive assistants across the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality of departmental and personal information of senior executives and ensure information is handled appropriately.
- Act as a communications liaison within and outside of the Legal Department as required, including composing and sending outgoing responses and teamwide communications on behalf of the senior executives.
- Respond to inquiries and refer them to the appropriate destination.
- Partner with team members and other colleagues across the company to provide back-up support when necessary.
- Assist other Legal Department members with additional legal support tasks as appropriate.

- Excellent analytical skills; capable of identifying and prioritizing issues and providing alternative solutions.
- Excellent project and time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize changing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Experience internationally is a plus (but not required).
- Local candidates preferred.
Experience and Expertise:
- 3+ years in a legal and/or executive support capacity with increasing responsibilities.
- Excellent business acumen and ability to exercise initiative, tact, sound judgment and prioritization.
- Able to observe and maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Advanced-level Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
