LEAD, ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
This team leads the advancement of automation and digitization across Nike’s manufacturing network. The role reports to the Director of Manufacturing Systems Engineering, South Asia, and partners with Apparel and Accessories Factory Partners, internal Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and technology integrators.

Required Qualifications
Open to work in Vietnam
Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing with emphasis on automation and digitization
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience with General Sewing Data (GSD), capacity planning, and leading engineering teams
Background in automation technologies, software for manufacturing systems, and digitization initiatives; project management experience preferred
You’ll lead the strategy and execution of automation and digitization solutions across Nike’s global manufacturing network. You’ll partner across engineering, factory, and cross‑functional teams to build modern, scalable systems that elevate performance and transform operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Factory Partners, Supply Chain, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions
Lead end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of automation and digitization initiatives
Co‑create modernization roadmaps with factory partners to accelerate capability building
Drive adoption of robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in manufacturing
Develop automation frameworks and standards that ensure reliability, consistency, and scalability
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to guide investment and capability decisions
Enable knowledge sharing across product, engineering, and process teams; define and track KPIs for performance impact
