Expand all
MANAGE YOUR CUSTOMERS’ P&L
- Build annual business plans for each customer that deliver on agreed KPIs and maximise available investment.
- Deliver sales volume and value targets across your portfolio of accounts.
- Balance short-term commercial wins with long-term strategic investments to grow share.
- Identify and lead ad-hoc commercial opportunities that drive incremental growth.
EFFECTIVE CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
- Own multi-layered relationships across your customers’ organisations.
- Develop and execute national account plans that drive availability, visibility and brand communication.
- Represent Red Bull at all key customer forums: JBPs, business reviews, retailer events, trade shows and Red Bull activations.
EFFECTIVE IN-STORE ACTIVATION
- Lead in-store execution across your customers via internal and third-party field teams.
- Create clear sell-in tools and training content to enable Field Sales to deliver execution standards.
- Maintain regular, value-adding engagement with your customers focused on activation and execution.
ENSURE ROBUST TRADE SPEND MANAGEMENT AND FORECAST PROCESSES
- Adhere to, and champion, the trade spend management process.
- Build and maintain a robust rolling forecast with strong attention to detail.
- Work closely with Operations to manage changes and ensure sufficient stock cover, including all NPD launches.
EXECUTION OF PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE CUSTOMER
- Design and implement national promotional programs that align with customer strategy and deliver Red Bull’s business plan.
- Use available data to understand drivers of performance and refine promotional and activation plans.
- Take ownership of financial claims and all financial impacts relating to your accounts.
CROSS FUNCTIONAL ENGAGEMENT
- Partner with the Category Manager to convert sales data and shopper insights into practical tools for Field Teams.
- Collaborate with Finance on monthly accruals and reconciling actual vs forecast spend.
- Engage proactively across the wider business to secure support for customer-specific initiatives.
- Work closely with Operations on monthly demand plans.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Outstanding sales experience and track record in FMCG, with Foodstuffs
- Ideally 5 years relevant experience
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with experiences in seeking ‘win-win’ situations
- Proactive and impactful management of customer relationships
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, training experience is not essential but would be beneficial
- High attention to detail, especially in business planning and project management
- Has proven commercial acumen
- Can demonstrate an aptitude for analysing data and generating meaningful insights
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Advanced level MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Current, full NZ Full Driver’s Licence
- Travel 0-10%
