Junior Finance Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our Finance Department.

This is a varied and high-exposure role within a well-respected Finance team that sits at the heart of business decision-making. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop commercially and technically, building the foundations for progression into a more senior finance role.

The Role

• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting across Product and Membership areas, clearly communicating performance insights to stakeholders
• Prepare and upload non-financial KPIs into finance systems
• Review month-end P&Ls across product categories, investigating variances vs budget and prior year performance
• Identify risks and opportunities within performance trends and support mitigation planning
• Provide clear commentary to support month-end reporting cycles
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes
• Support ad-hoc analysis requests from the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst and Head of Planning & Analysis
• Partner with Product Heads to support decision-making and drive commercial performance

Experience

• Studying towards (or planning to start) an accountancy qualification such as ACA, CIMA or ACCA
• Experience working in a commercial environment and/or a relevant Finance degree
• Strong Excel capability and confidence working with large datasets
• Commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insight
• A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, improve and grow
• Interest in the fitness, wellbeing or leisure sector is highly desirable
