Full Description

The successful candidate for the Third Party Blank Inventory Analyst role will conduct thorough analysis and recommendations related to inventory planning activities and inventory accuracy to support Fanatics Brands external networks. This position will work closely with other team members on the Blank Inventory Readiness team to meet our ultimate goal of having the Right Inventory at the Right Place at the Right Time for Third Party Manufacturing needs. This position will be responsible for executing all processes, communications, and management activities related to blank inventory at Third Party partners.

Responsibilities

  • Executing systematic transactions required for managing the movement in/out of the third party partner network, ensuring proper accounting and systematic record keeping of inventory.
  • Ability to handle an environment of continuous change and improvement – constantly identifying opportunities for process or technology improvements and documenting and communicating those to management.
  • Support development of new tools and reporting required for improving analytical capabilities to assist in inventory planning and reconciliation.
  • Working closely with Inventory Control Team to execute regular inventory cycle counts or physical inventories as required at third Party contractors.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance to ensure transactions related to Production inventory at third party contractors are accurate and timely and are interpreted correctly in our financial reporting processes.
  • Work closely with Production Inventory Readiness Manager to align on strategy of inventory positioning at third party partners and to drive execution of those strategies. This includes transfers of inventory, receipts of new inventory directly to third party, as well as exception management of inventory shortages/overages.
  • Ensure production WIP movement at Third Party is done correctly for all aspects pertaining to Inventory (Inventory pulls for production, damage/misprint reconciliation).
  • Work closely with Traffic team to ensure on time deliveries and report back any delays.
  • Key contributor to special projects, new implementations of systems related to management of third party inventory.
  • Monitor databases for integrity and quality of inventory records.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to track and execute several different activities or priorities within a day or week.
  • Ability to drive root-cause analysis for exceptions or inventory control issues, summarize, and implement solutions to fix.
  • Conversant in current analytical tools (MS Excel, Microstrategy/Business Intelligence Tools, MS Office Suite) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in using problem solving techniques and providing accurate recap of findings and solutions with timelines to upper management.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency, working in a fast-paced environment with constructive judgment during demanding situations.
  • Limited Travel (5%-10%)
