Full Description
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
- Work with the team to build up best allocation & replenishment plan for DTC business.
- Take proactive action to achieve targets.
- Work closely with Buying, Retail Operations, E-commerce and SCM team to ensure effective stock consolidation, replenishment and new launch allocations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
- Develop, align and implement weekly and monthly in-season stock fulfilment to achieve the sales and inventory target as well as weeks coverage to maximize product usage.
- Review and analyze stock levels and sales performance across own retail stores to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Drive replenishment planning forecast to maximize the business opportunities and manage the workflow downstream with stakeholders.
- Define business opportunities through markdowns, promotion and manage stock on hand at store level. Collect and analyze sales data for stock forecast to formulate strategic plan on shelf inventory management and drive sales target
Allocation & Replenishment & Consolidation
- Propose and implement stock consolidation strategies and replenishment plans that align with sales forecasts and operational goals.
- Generate consolidate report and guide operation team to transfer stock at store level.
- Provide buying team with monthly product allocation report and help operation team more understand products' distribution plan and allocated volumes to stores.
- Collaborate with operation and SCM team on product delivery including scheduling and capacity management in both warehouse and stores.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Buying, Retail & ECOM Operations team, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Product Management or Merchandising experience
- Well understanding on retail business.
- Effective partnering, communication, and influencing skills.
- High execution ability and self-management.
- Good organization & planning, and attention to details
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required and advanced degree in business or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in merchandising planning, buying function, or inventory management experience in FMCG supply chain.
- Proficiency in using big data for insights and decisions, and can make sense of ambiguous situations.
- Good written and spoken in both English & Mandarin.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to develop useful models/tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details and multi-tasked and systemic.
- Good presentation and PPT skills.
