OVERVIEW

CAA is seeking an International Technology leader to join its Technology team and support the CTO across the UK, EMEA, APAC and the Middle East. This is a highly matrixed leadership role, and this Executive is responsible for supporting the CTO’s strategic vision and representing each technology domain in regions outside the Americas. 

The incumbent will lead and partner with the various CAA business departments and sites in these regions on different technology needs to design solutions in partnership with CAA Technology across multiple Technology areas of expertise (e.g. Global Service Desk, Product Management, Product Development, Data, Business Systems, Infrastructure and/or Information Risk Management) and in full alignment to the CTO’s global strategy.  

In doing so, this role will be required to collaborate and remain aligned with each technology domain’s community of practice (COP). The International Technology leader is also responsible for providing leadership, feedback and mentorship to the technology resources in these regions and facilitating direct line reporting back to each COP. 

Other duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Build & maintain strong partnerships with corporate and business leaders across CAA International. 

  • Partner with local leaders to ensure the international technology division meets current and future business needs. 

  • Work with the CTO to build out the international technology team to support continued business growth, through training, development and hiring. 

  • Identify and drive innovation in technology solutions, leading to improved efficiencies and competitiveness. 

  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement in technology operations, in collaboration with global COE leaders and ensuring these are aligned with CTO’s global strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least 15 years of experience in technology, with 5+ years in consulting, program/project management and/or strategy experience.

  • Ability to partner with and appropriately challenge senior leaders across the enterprise.

  • Proficiency at translating business and tech priorities into actions that can be practically implemented across businesses, sites, departments to help the business achieve its priorities.

  • Must have a solid technical understanding across various areas of expertise, including but not limited to: product management and development, cyber security, cloud services and Audio Visual. 

  • Previous experience leading and managing international teams.  

  • Actively keeps up to date on the latest developments in technology. 

  • Strong ability to communicate cross functionally and with multiple stakeholders. 

  • Strong operational excellence skills.

  • Ability to deliver results, and build structure and process, in a highly dynamic, matrixed and ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence in a manner that drive results at all levels of the organisation.

  • Extremely comfortable turning data into insights that drive corporate development decisions.
