Full Description
THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Audit professional (Manager or Assistant Manager level) to join the established Internal Audit team on a 9-12-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover.
This role will focus on the delivery of audits included within the 2026 Internal Audit Plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing audits either independently or with the support of a junior team member, and for coordinating and overseeing third-party subject-matter experts where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver internal audits end-to-end in line with the 2026 Internal Audit Plan, including drafting terms of reference and audit reports in accordance with methodology.
- Execute audits independently or with support from a junior resource, including reviewing their work where applicable.
- Coordinate and manage third-party subject-matter experts engaged to support audit delivery.
- Present audit findings clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
- Develop practical, value-adding recommendations.
- Track and monitor the implementation of agreed management actions.
- Support targeted reviews or ad hoc audit work as required.
- Assist in the preparation of Audit Committee reporting.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Experience in a similar role at Internal Audit Manager or Assistant Manager level, either in-house within a multinational organisation or within professional services.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience operating in a commercial, multi-entity environment.
- Proven ability to independently deliver audits and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing junior team members and/or external providers is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU KNOW:
- Experience with data analytics.
