Full Description
The Intern, Sales Account Management will be responsible for assisting the National Account Manager with the Loblaw Companies Limited (LCL) account. The intern will support a variety of internal and external sales initiatives planned for 2026.
This role involves supporting with execution analysis to identify opportunities to drive sales and improve profitability, prepare sales reporting, assist with promotional, merchandising, conduct store visits and support with customer events.
Loblaw Companies Limited includes Market, Discount, Wholesale, and Drug divisions. Key banners include Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, Maxi, Provigo, and City Market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Expand all
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Prepare sales performance analysis and basic reporting to support the National Account Manager.
Support store visits and trade tours, including visit preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
Maintain and enhance internal sales trackers and external execution templates.
Assist with new product listings, launches, and customer set-ups.
Support the set-up, execution, and sampling at customer events.
MERCHANDISING, DISPLAYS & COOLER EXECUTION
Track Red Bull product listings, shelf space, and merchandising plans by LCL division and banner.
Support execution rollout tracking, including store lists, placement status, and results follow-up.
Track off-shelf displays and in-store displays, including set-up, duration, and compliance.
Assist in identifying execution gaps and opportunities through store-level insights.
CUSTOMER & COMPETITIVE RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
Conduct store checks and Drive Tool audits with summarized findings.
Support monthly trade days with distribution partners and account teams.
Monitor and record competitor pricing, promotions, displays, and in-store execution activity
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

- University – Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or related field) - In Progress
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills/willingness to hone and develop these skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
- Travel 0-10%
