This 6-month Part-Time Internship at adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you've learned at university, use your knowledge in practice, and live your passion for sports in our Guangzhou for Global Sourcing business.

About the Material Operations Team:

Join the Material Operations Team: Our team owns the data management of Material Supplier (T2), Suppliers' Subcontractors & Raw Material Suppliers (T2+1), optimizes reporting process and maintain data. And apply automation to share information to internal team and T2 supplier base in a safe way.

Key Objectives & Opportunity:

• To create and optimize data management tool and process for T2 supplier base.
• To learn how to work with team in different culture (China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan).
• To enhance data, communication and project management skill.

Key Responsibilities:

• T2 and T2+1 supplier base data management and update.
• Support in developing and maintaining T2 capability matrix.
• Co-work with materials planning team in managing T2 capacity overview.
• Assist implementation of processes & policies.
• Manage survey and DocuSign for T2 supplier base.
• Manage and track project status for all locations.
• Organize team meeting, facilitate workshop, prepare and combine meeting deck.

Key Working Relationships:

• Material Operation Team in different locations
• Material Sourcing Team in different functions
• Material planning team
• T1 factories, and key T2 suppliers.

Requirement:

• Student in progress of undergraduate or master degree program. Preferably major in Data Management and Business Management.
• Strong in analytics skill, capable to work with massive data.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experienced in Power Automate is an advantage
• Good interpersonal skill and collaborative mindset to work partnership across functions and locations.
• Fluency in verbal and written communication I English, Mandarin. Cantonese or other languages is a plus.
• At least 3 working days per week, 6 months service period

• Readiness to start the internship in Jan 2025 with 6 months duration.
