THE FANTERNSHIP

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, hard-working intern with the ability to think creatively, be proactive and make clear, well-reasoned decisions. We are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond to contribute to the success of this world class organization. He/she must also be able to work collaboratively as a team and be a self-starter, keeping your finger on the pulse of the sports world, monitoring selling of teams and merchandise, working with world class vendors – such as Nike/Adidas/Under Armour/ Majestic, and driving overall top and bottom-line results

Internship positions are competitive and are paid positions. This internship is a semester long position working 15-20 hours per week, starting in mid-January and ending in the beginning of May. This position is based at our Norman, OK office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

· Monitor the sports world and retail on a daily basis with a mindset of finding new and unique hyper-local opportunities.

· Assist in building and launching industry leading product assortments for unique hyper-local opportunities, NIL, and hot markets.

· Work with the special programs manager to track performance, inventory, and shipping related to these unique products.

· Monitor and audit NIL product assortment, including changes to NIL opt-ins.

· Work on special projects as assigned by the Special Programs Manager and/or College VP.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

· Proactive, energetic, hard-working, intellectually curious and results-oriented

· Team player who can work effectively in a fast paced environment

· Ability to handle multiple projects and timelines simultaneously and resolve problems quickly

· Solid negotiation skills and highly developed problem solving skills required

· An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results

· Comfort working with all employee levels – from executives to the warehouse associates

· Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel products

QUALIFICATIONS

· A passion for college sports! We are the brand of the fan

· Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Fashion Merchandising, or other related field from an accredited 4-year college or university

· A minimum of 3.3 GPA
