Purpose of Role

The regional Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the marketing operations, social media channels, strategies, and projects of the marketing team. They will have the opportunity to embark on a 360° learning journey and become an integral part of the team behind SAPAC Marketing.

Your Impact

Digital Marketing

  • Oversee asset coordination and management
  • Plan and execute content for social media that drives the objectives of the brand
  • Support regional social media content planning
  • Support the management of social media channels
  • Support the team with media buy planning

Marketing

  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Event support, including real-time content capture and other duties
  • Developing content briefs for the brand’s roster of athletes and ambassadors
  • Support the team on marketing activities and projects
  • Working cross-functionally and across markets to bring campaigns to life

Qualifications

  • Preferably qualification in Marketing, Communications Studies, or any related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of social media channels and user behaviour.
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Passionate and highly motivated personality with a ‘get things done’ mentality
  • Proven experience in dealing with PR and event agencies
  • Strong interest in content, marketing, and sports/fitness
  • A keen learner who is creative, detail-oriented, resourceful, and driven
  • Able to work with a team or independently where needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
