The Role 

As an Integrity Operator, you will use your understanding of how betting markets for a variety of sports operate, to work within Genius Sports’ Integrity team in Medellin and closely with our other departments across the world. Using the company’s proprietary data and software solutions, you will be part of a team responsible for identifying anomalous betting patterns and alerting key stakeholders of this betting to pass on to our wide range of sporting clients

The successful applicant would ideally have experience of working within the betting industry or an ability to demonstrate their knowledge of betting markets as they relate to a variety of sports.

Main Responsibilities

  • Spot anomalous odds movement using Genius Sports’ integrity’s bespoke monitoring system
  • Investigate odds movements and other betting patterns using our proprietary data, monitoring systems and other external sources.
  • Build up and maintain a high level of knowledge on the various events/competitors worldwide.
  • Produce internal reports analysing the betting support monitored to ascertain whether it is anomalous.
  • Communicating any suspicious betting patterns to the wider Integrity team that are responsible for sharing this intelligence with our sports partners.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and clients to help protect sports from integrity-threats.
  • Liaise with our various internal trading departments to ensure all relevant aspects of the sporting event and betting market are explained.
  • Continually assess and review the relevant betting markets.

Requirements

  • Excellent sports betting knowledge.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for sports – ideally with a core knowledge of Football, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball and American Football.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly prioritise work in a proactive manner and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Possess a good eye for detail with dedication to produce high quality work.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
