We partner with world‑class suppliers and cross‑functional teams to ensure materials and manufacturing capabilities support product innovation, quality, speed, cost competitiveness, and sustainability.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role is based at Converse Technology Services in Ho Chi Minh City and reports to the Senior Manager, Innovation & Materials Development. The position collaborates closely with internal partners including Materials Developers, Tooling Engineers, Chemical Engineers, and Headquarters (HQ) Product Engineers, while partnering externally with Tier 1 and Tier 2 product developers, engineers, and laboratory technicians to drive innovation and product commercialization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A candidate with entry level of footwear engineering and development background, proficient project management skill, fundamental level of data management skill and set of soft skills required for Innovation. 

  • Minimum 2 years of footwear industry experience; exposure to product engineering, development, tooling, or costing is advantageous.

  • Strong project management capability with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through validation.

  • Data-oriented mindset with foundational analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel or other data analysis platforms.

  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

  • Additional strengths may include footwear costing knowledge, materials expertise, 2D/3D component review capabilities, and experience with analytical tools such as Sigma or Tableau.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will support the development and commercialization of innovative footwear solutions by managing projects from concept through validation. Working across engineering, materials, and manufacturing teams, you will help translate ideas into scalable products while leveraging data, testing, and collaboration to drive successful outcomes.

  • Lead cross-functional taskforce teams to deliver innovation projects through effective collaboration and execution.

  • Facilitate Innovation Workshops across T1 Development Centers to generate, review, and advance high-quality ideas.

  • Partner with testing teams to evaluate prototypes and validate product performance.

  • Collaborate with T1 factories and HQ teams to manage tooling authorization, implementation, and lifecycle processes.

  • Own project performance tracking, including Return Of Invesment (ROI) analysis, cost-versus-performance assessments, and product review reporting.

  • Support the development of strategic relationships with key innovation partners across the supply chain.

  • Provide on-site problem solving and thrive in a fast-paced, self-managed, multicultural, and cross-functional environment.
