About Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Delivery Manager to join our Innovation Development Team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, flexible environments and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into impactful digital solutions. As a key interface between business and engineering, you will be responsible for translating strategic goals into executable workstreams, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and championing innovation within the company.
Responsibilities:
1. Backlog & Delivery Management
- Own and manage the product backlog in Jira: create, refine, and prioritize epics, user stories, and tasks in close collaboration with the Engineering team.
- Ensure backlog items are well-defined and actionable, incorporating input from stakeholders and product strategy.
- Monitor delivery progress and adjust priorities based on changing business needs.
2. Roadmap & Planning
- Coordinate and maintain the product roadmap using Aha.io, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and timelines.
- Track key milestones and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison between the innovation team and stakeholders, including:
- Product managers
- Engineering and technical teams
- Sales support
- External technology and integration partners
- Manage expectations and maintain transparency through structured communication and regular updates.
4. Requirements & Testing
- Collaborate with product teams to clarify and validate business requirements.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on delivered features to ensure solutions meet defined criteria and deliver value.
5. Internal Communication & Awareness
- Develop and distribute regular updates on project progress and innovation outcomes.
- Promote the team’s accomplishments internally through presentations, newsletters, or knowledge-sharing sessions to increase visibility and foster a culture of innovation.
6. Agile & Strategic Thinking
- Apply structural, logical thinking to solve complex problems and define coherent workflows.
- Adapt quickly to emerging opportunities, shifting priorities as necessary to support new initiatives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proactive and “get-your-hands-dirty” attitude.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager or similar role in a software development or digital innovation environment.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Aha.io.
- Strong understanding of agile development practices and backlog grooming.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and structured thinking approach with an ability to break down complex ideas into executable tasks.
- Experience with UAT and a keen eye for detail in feature testing.
Preferred Attributes:
- Comfortable working in a flexible, evolving environment with minimal structure.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Familiarity with partner integration projects or external APIs is a plus.
