The Role 

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our People team. Reporting into, and working closely with our Head of People, you will play a central role in delivering our People strategy by providing high quality, pragmatic and collaborative generalist HR support across the organisation.This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a world-class event, working with passionate professionals and visionary leaders.

Job Summary: 

As HR Business Partner you will lead the delivery of key HR solutions including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, people development, employee engagement and the mobilisation of our Games time workforce. You will act as a business partner with your assigned functional areas, providing confidential and effective coaching and advice to line managers, ensuring a deep understanding of that functional areas’ strategy. Working closely with leaders and colleagues across the Organising Company, you will ensure that ED&I is embedded in everything we do, support the transition of staff into Games time roles, and provide guidance as colleagues leave the OC post Games. This is a unique opportunity to influence a world-class event behind the scenes, supporting passionate professionals and leaders committed to delivering excellence for athletes, local communities and global audiences.

Key Skills and Experience:

You will have experience in a similar HR role and hold a CIPD Associate-level qualification. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build trust with employees, managers and external partners at all levels. You will bring a genuine passion for equality, diversity and inclusion, and commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive environment within the workplace. Attention to detail, a proactive and solutions focused mindset, the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be essential. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as responsibilities may evolve throughout the lifecycle of the Organising Company, reflecting the dynamic nature of delivering a major global event.

Salary: Starting salary is from £45,000. Salary offered will be based on demonstrated skills and experience related to this role.
