Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced event professional to lead the planning, mobilisation, and delivery of our Stakeholder Programme within Australia, ensuring world-class experiences for tournament guests, sponsors, partners, and key stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for executing the end-to-end stakeholder match day experience programmes, ensuring the highest levels of guest experience, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and commercial outcomes in line with the project vision.

Main Accountabilities

  • Programme Leadership: Direct the end-to-end delivery of the Stakeholder Programme to achieve all milestones on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, partners and internal teams to align objectives and drive effective collaboration.
  • Operational Planning: Oversee the creation and execution of detailed project plans for match day services to ensure resources are optimally allocated, risks are managed, and contingency strategies are in place for seamless delivery.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for each programme to ensure financial targets are met and value is maximised for all stakeholders.
  • Process Optimisation: Implement and refine centralised processes for account management, match day services, and reporting to deliver consistency and efficiency across all venues.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold and champion service standards, guest experience, and brand integrity throughout all phases of each programme to ensure a world-class outcome.
  • Service Excellence: Lead the design and delivery of match day service strategies to ensure every interaction exceeds expectations and builds lasting positive impressions of the programme.
  • Crisis & Risk Management: Anticipate, identify, and resolve operational challenges to ensure robust crisis management and business continuity plans are in place, minimising disruption.
  • Innovation & Best Practice: Drive continuous improvement by integrating industry best practice, technology, and sustainability into programme delivery to enhance outcomes and maintain a leading edge.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide clear, timely updates to executive leadership and stakeholders to ensure transparency and support informed decision-making for each programme.

Key Experience

  • Programme Leadership: Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-stakeholder event programmes, ideally in global sports, hospitality and sponsorship rights delivery environments.
  • High Performance: Demonstrated ability to manage high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-profile event setting with positive commercial outcomes.
  • Relationship Management: Expertise in senior stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and operational delivery within a matrixed environment.
  • Service Excellence: Track record of designing and delivering guest service strategies that consistently exceed expectations and enhance reputation.
  • Leadership & Strategic Planning: Ability to map out requirements, processes and resources needed to deliver on projects, and lead on the programme delivery across multi-disciplinary teams.

A passion for sports is beneficial but not essential.
