Full Description
At Stats Perform, we combine the power of sports data and technology to create insights that shape the future of sport. We're looking for a Group Financial Controller to help lead our global finance transformation and bring operational excellence to our multi-entity environment.
You’ll play a key leadership role in a 40+ person international finance team, primarily based in Katowice, Poland. Working closely with our London-based senior team, you’ll take ownership of global consolidations, statutory compliance, and help implement a new, cloud-based ERP platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fixing, building, and scaling.
What You’ll Do
- Lead global statutory reporting and multi-entity consolidation
- Build and embed scalable financial controls across our global operations
- Drive ERP and finance systems transformation (Oracle Cloud preferred)
- Oversee audits and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, FP&A, Legal, and Ops teams
- Coach and lead a geographically distributed finance team
What You’ll Bring
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
- 7+ years in senior finance roles, with at least 3–4 years post-practice in industry
- Strong IFRS and multi-currency consolidation experience
- Comfortable working across time zones with remote teams
- Experience leading finance transformation or ERP implementations
- Excellent communication skills, with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
Bonus Points For
- Experience in a private equity-backed business
- Exposure to offshore service centres/shared finance models
- Background in mid-sized global companies
Who You Are
You're a problem-solver, not a passenger. You thrive in fast-moving, imperfect environments. You’ve worked in businesses where you had to build the system, not just use it. You bring both financial rigour and business pragmatism and you know how to lead through influence and integrity.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Stats Perform
We believe diversity drives performance. We actively support inclusive hiring, employee-led resource groups, and ongoing DE&I education.
