The FA is looking for a Grassroots Project Coordinator to join our Grassroots team. The successful candidate will facilitate all related administrative & business support needs of the Grassroots Football Division with specific responsibility for key Development projects.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead on all projects and tasks from the two Divisional Departments that this role will support: Grassroots Coach Development & Strategy and Business Services.
  • Provide Grassroots Learning support, including course administration, learner invoice management, venue purchase orders and acting as a point of liaison on courses.
  • Support kit and equipment requirements including processing requests and managing suppliers.
  • Arrange regional and national events supporting the delivery of the GR coach development programme. As part of this, lead on IT support, data entry and event logistics, including managing regular data uploads, creating webinars and managing invites and registration.
  • Carry out the administration required to support the tracking of CPD across programmes and the CFA network.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to formal and informal FA working groups, meetings and Committees as required. This will include agenda collation, minute taking and following up on actions, providing all work to a high standard with a good eye for detail.
  • Lead on general grassroots administration tasks including monitoring and actioning items within Grassroots Division in-boxes and Smartsheet requests, preparing reports and presentations and maintaining databases.
  • In all tasks, provide a high level of service to internal and external customers, ensure stakeholders are regularly and effectively communicated to.
  • Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.
  • As part of the FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

  • Office and administration experience.
  • Ability to organise, co-ordinate and attend events.
  • Project and programme support: experience of taking ownership of small projects through to completion.

Beneficial to have:

  • Minute taking experience.
  • Ability to review, evaluate and streamline existing services and procedures.
  • Experience of supporting Committees.
