Job Description

As a Global People Relations partner, you’ll be key to the support of the global people relations proposition agenda with a focus on continuous improvement at the heart. Working closely with the People Relations service delivery team, you’ll be provided trends and insight on our people related data, pro-actively strategizing ways in which our People Relations activity can add real impact and add value, resulting in demonstratable benefits to our business.


Reporting to the Lead Global People Relations Partner, you’ll assist in the delivery of support for all M&A and change activities across the functions, ensuring People Relations is actively involved and consulted with in all M&A and change work, providing the necessary support as and when required.


This role is critical to delivering our provision of high-quality global People Relations advice, risk mitigation, people change support and guidance across Entain, with our People Leaders and across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll need to manage multiple senior stakeholders globally, ensuring all people change activity is delivered in a consistent manner, reflecting best practice and appropriately mitigating people related risks along with ensuring all people advice and guidance is timely, commercial in line with current legislation and pragmatic.

You’ll be the Global People Relations Partner on multiple people projects across the globe, ensuring that the support and advice provided, considers both best practice and the relevant local legislation along with Entain policy, process and procedure.

You’ll work collaboratively with the Global People Relations delivery Team Leaders, ensuring an aligned and proactive approach towards the identification of people trends, together with the development and implementation of effective interventions and resolutions across the group globally.

With the Global People Relations Team Leaders, you’ll be aligned in your desire to increase People Management capability across the group identifying People Related interventions as a result of the MI you’re provided by the People Relations delivery team, which enables a highly engaged workforce and results in optimal business performance.

What you will do

  • Working with Senior Leaders and Managers across the business providing a Business Partnering approach in relation to all integration and ER related activity, ensuring optimal Customer Relationship Management.
  • Working closely with the Regional HR Teams as well as HR Business Partners, Talent & Development and Senior Managers to address key People Relations issues, identify trends and to develop the capability of line managers.
  • Project manage significant people-related programmes to include development of strategy (including risk management), management of resource and implementation of plan
  • Provide management information (MI) reports to business areas and stakeholders relating to all People Relations activity. Provide analysis on trends, themes or key issues, providing recommendations and strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Define, design, deliver and monitor interventions that will address skills/knowledge gaps and improve Line Manager (and the wider HR team) capability in handling ER related issues, and which drives business performance.
  • Develop and provide training and education sessions to employees and managers on both a formal and informal basis and maintain professional understanding of the changing legislative environment.
  • Identify and implement performance improvements to ensure the people processes, procedures and policies are efficient, fit for purpose and continually improving and adapting to business need whilst remaining legally compliant.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Significant and demonstrable experience of TUPE and change management programmes relating to mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
  • Up to date employment law and best practice HR knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering pragmatic, commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of building strong working relationships, with the ability to challenge and influence at difference levels across the organisation.
  • Successful management of medium to long-term change programs, whilst driving day-to-day team performance
  • Experienced in delivering coaching, training, and development interventions to raise Line manager capability.
  • Experience of managing, coaching, developing and motivating large teams
  • Clear, articulate and concise communication skills e.g. conveying complex and sensitive information in a succinct manner.

Desired:

  • Experience of working within a customer focused function within a large, retail based, company.
  • Experience of working within a global organisation
  • Experience of working with case management systems
  • CIPD Qualifications (or working towards)
