Full Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the GBS Center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures and guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility
- Followed procedure and leader instructions in Invoice Processing service area
- Help to achieve process improvement under instructions of team leads
- Perform accounting tasks in invoice processing for small markets
- Create and maintain desktop procedures according to process change
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive hardcopies and scan copies of invoices and register in tracker
- Validate invoices submitted by end users/vendors based on checking rules, including expense nature, vendor name, adidas entity, etc., to make sure all the invoices are 100% compliant with adidas global & local policy
- Conduct 3-way (2-way) match for invoices and entry in ERP
- Perform cross checks on time and take actions to avoid mistakes if it happens.
- Follow up on assigned cases in system.
- Answer basic or simple enquiries through emails
- Support team lead on daily operation to fulfill SLA/KPI.
- Support GCA's process and conduct process expansion.
- Support report related tasks.
Process Excellence
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Propose continuous improvement initiatives based on observations from daily operations, such as invoice auto-posting, eliminate unnecessary checking points etc.

- Global IT and IT 3rd party
- GBS | SLM | FA | GL | AR team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good understanding of invoice posting process and compliance regulations.
- Capability to independently interact with different stakeholders/vendors.
- Result oriented and solution-minded team player with a high degree of self-management.
- Good communication skills with positive thinking.
- Proficiency in SAP/Ariba Network (invoice posting/invoice issue, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office (ppt, excel, word, etc.).
- Fluent Japanese, spoken and written.
- Good English, read and written.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent education required
- 1 to 2 years of accounting or relevant working experience
